Mind | Let's Spread the Word

I had a massive think about the awesome work individuals and groups put in to making charities help so many people. I was thinking about how awesome it is that they were set up in the first place and how important so many charities are. How vital it is we keep pushing forward with their work and helping this world and the people in it. And something that is important and so easy to do is simply spreading the word. It's a tiny, tiny action but if one person wants to find out more and it helps them or their understanding, well that's pretty cool, right? And all at the same time, I'm learning all the more. So today... the awesome, amazing charity: Mind. Check out their work HERE!

Mind campaign to improve services with, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health. They want people to understand their illness and provide help to many. People may be scared to reach out or they may not understand or anything ever and Mind want to help. And my gosh, I'm so happy they are around! So many of us have or will experience mental illnesses and Mind are there to help, guide and change a lot of terrible perspectives when it comes to mental illness.

So many people we have or come across in our lives will or have experienced/are still experiencing  mental illness(es). We may know about it; we may not. So, for those we know about and for those we don't, we need to spread our love and encourage their understanding and health through supporting Mind. Because, it could be anyone of us and I want the world to be an understanding one I don't fear.

It's so important to educate ourselves and others. People with mental illnesses aren't week- for goodness' sake they are NOT weak. It's a tragic part of life we can help if we come together. I've had family members who have had terrible experiences with mental health and although it is never going to be fun, we can make it better; manageable; we can really change the current situation.

Mind are so incredible. So incredible. And I really encourage you to check out their website and their work because there's so much to educate ourselves on and I will be going back and back whilst spreading the word of Mind, because their message and work is so important.

I could write and write and write, but remember this... Our mental health is so damn important. Educate yourselves. Educate others. Do something to help this world become a better, more understanding and helpful place.

Hope & Help,

The Girl in the Moonlight.

P.S. I'm blogging twice a day every day this month and you can read my last post HERE!
